Meet Our Staff
Bruce A. Apple, MS, PT, ATBruce obtained a Master's degree in physical therapy in 1984 from Beaver College (Arcadia University) and has been an athletic trainer since 1978. In the mid-1980s, he was the director of several sports medicine clinics in the region. In 1989, he opened his own practice, Apple Physical Therapy, P.A., which he operated successfully until the business was sold in 1997 to HealthSouth. He was the clinic manager for their full-service rehabilitation facility in Marlton and administrator for six other offices in the tri-county area. From 2004 until June 2007, Bruce teamed with Excel Physical Therapy to establish a Cherry Hill facility. In July 2007, Bruce again opened his own practice at 16 Rockhill Road in Cherry Hill, where he continues to treat patients on a daily basis. Highlights of his career as an athletic trainer include: work in the Detroit Tigers organization, the Australian Maccabiah Sports Festival (1988/1989), the World Maccabiah Games in Israel (summer 1989), the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center (summer 1998). Additionally, Bruce has assisted with training for the Denver Nuggets, Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Eagles and State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships. In his spare time, Bruce can often be found on the golf course. He is involved with several charitable organizations and the community of Cherry Hill, where he, his wife and two daughters reside.
Adam David, PT, DPTAdam received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 2011. He earned a Bachelor's degree, with a major in Psychology, from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey in 2004. After graduating, Adam worked as an elementary school teacher in Camden, NJ. Through various clinical affiliations and work experiences at Moss Rehab Outpatient Center, Novacare at the Sporting Club, Abington Memorial Hospital and Apple Physical Therapy in Cherry Hill, Adam developed a strong interest in rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports injuries and vestibular rehabilitation. During his graduate course of study, Adam participated in a systematic review of the literature called "The Effect of Manual Therapy and Stretching on Costochondritis/Tietze Syndrome/Slipping Rib Syndrome." Adam's goal is to develop meaningful relationships with his patients, with an emphasis on quality and individualized care. Adam was born and raised in Cherry Hill and strives to be an active member of the community. In his spare time, he enjoys running, rooting for Philadelphia sports teams and trying out new restaurants. Adam currently resides in Center City Philadelphia with his wife, Nikki. |
